The role & impact
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you’ll design, build, and scale cloud‑ready services and modern web applications used by leading financial institutions. You will collaborate with product managers, functional consultants, and architects to ship secure, performant features end‑to‑end—backed by clean code, strong tests, and thoughtful reviews.
What you’ll do
- Own end‑to‑end delivery: design, develop, test, review, and ship backend and frontend features.
- Write clear technical specifications from functional requirements, review peers’ designs and code.
- Estimate effort, break down work, and deliver iteratively in agile sprints.
- Work with fellow developers to achieve overall goal
- Stay current on technologies and best practices, to arrive at best solutions
- Require estimating effort for new features, change requests and support requests
- Facilitation of technical training sessions within the team
Our modern stack (what you’ll work with)
Backend (.NET 10 – LTS)
- C# 14 on .NET 10 (LTS) with a three‑year support window and significant runtime/library performance & security improvements.
- ASP.NET Core 10 — Minimal APIs, diagnostics, and Identity/passkey support.
- Entity Framework Core 10 — JSON column support; vector data type & similarity search for AI/RAG scenarios; LINQ/translation enhancements.
- Postgres, Oracle and SQL Server Databases
- Authentication via OpenID Connect; secure-by-default practices.
- Observability: structured logs, metrics, tracing; API contracts documented with OpenAPI 3.1.
Frontend (React 19 + TypeScript)
- React 19 — Actions for async flows, improved Suspense, and server‑components‑ready ecosystem.
- TypeScript 5.9+ for robust typing; modern bundling (Vite/Webpack).
- Testing with React Testing Library/Playwright; Linting with Prettier.
Platform & DevOps
- Docker containers; CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Automated testing, security scanning, and reproducible builds are standard.
Must‑have skills
- C#/.NET 10 (LTS), C# 14; strong ASP.NET Core 10 (Minimal APIs/Web API), and secure auth.
- Entity Framework Core 10; practical modeling, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Any RDBMS preferably Postgres and Oracle.
- React 19 + TypeScript: building accessible, responsive SPAs; state management, routing, forms, and testing.
- Strong engineering habits: code reviews, unit/integration/E2E testing, debugging, and profiling.
- Clear written/verbal communication; ability to work independently and collaborate with an agile team.
Nice‑to‑have
- OpenAPI 3.1‑first design; Minimal API validation patterns.
- EF Core 10 features like JSON mapping and vector search for AI scenarios.
- Frontend performance (code‑splitting, Suspense, React Compiler readiness).
- Cloud security, secrets management, and basic container/Kubernetes know‑how.

Experience
