Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills Required:

·8+ years of extensive experience in Windows-based software development, with strong exposure to Linux environments; experience in network security products preferred.

·Strong proficiency in C++, Python, C#, TypeScript, and .NET Core, with hands-on experience building enterprise-grade Windows applications and services.

·Proven experience designing and implementing software architecture and design patterns for network security products (minimum 2 projects).

· Experience architecting and delivering distributed software systems and deployment models (minimum 1 project).

· Solid experience working in Agile software development environments.

· Strong understanding of Windows system architecture, services, multithreading, performance optimization, and security mechanisms.

· Knowledge of network security concepts such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, secure communication protocols, etc. (minimum 1– 2 projects).

· Experience conducting security analysis, threat modeling, and risk assessments (minimum 1 project).

· Strong understanding of security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, PCI DSS, and secure SDLC practices, with hands-on implementation experience.

· Proven ability to lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to development teams

· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Architect, design, and lead the development of enterprise-grade network security products on Windows platforms, using technologies such as C++ (mandatory), C#, .NET Core, Python, and TypeScript.

· Define and drive system architecture for complex security solutions, ensuring scalability, high availability, performance optimization, and secure design across Windows and integrated Linux environments.

· Design Windows services, background processes, secure communication layers, and distributed system components aligned with enterprise security requirements.

· Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, and Security Operations teams to translate business and security requirements into robust architectural solutions.

· Lead architectural reviews, conduct design evaluations, and ensure adherence to software design patterns and best practices.

· Perform threat modeling, security analysis, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and define mitigation strategies.

· Ensure software solutions comply with industry security standards such as OWASP, PCI DSS, and secure SDLC practices.

· Oversee distributed software deployment models and guide teams in implementing secure, scalable release architectures.

· Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural governance to development teams, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance standards.

· Review and approve technical documentation including architecture documents, design specifications, security assessments, and deployment guides.

· Drive adoption of Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

· Stay current with emerging Windows platform technologies, cybersecurity trends, and evolving threat landscapes to continuously strengthen product architecture
