Role Overview:
The Virtual Chatbot Team Lead will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of the enterprise Virtual Chatbot platform. This role ensures the chatbot delivers high-quality, scalable, and secure conversational experiences for employees, customers, and internal stakeholders. The Lead will manage end-to-end operations, guide a cross-functional squad, and collaborate across product, engineering, automation, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Product & Platform Ownership

•           Define and own the Virtual Chatbot roadmap.

•           Lead LLM integration, intent design, and capability expansion.

•           Track KPIs and improve chatbot accuracy, performance, and user experience.

2. Technical Leadership

•           Guide architecture, integrations, and solution design.

•           Ensure platform performance, security, and compliance.

•           Support engineering teams with troubleshooting and enhancements.

3. Stakeholder Management

•           Partner with business teams to onboard and develop new use cases.

•           Translate requirements into technical deliverables.

•           Represent the Virtual Chatbot in demos, reviews, and leadership interactions.

4. Team & Delivery Management

•           Lead and mentor a cross-functional chatbot squad.

•           Drive backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and quality delivery.

•           Maintain documentation, testing discipline, and release processes.

5. Conversational AI & Knowledge Management

•           Define conversation flows, intents, prompts, and fallback logic.

•           Oversee knowledge base updates and quality control.

•           Ensure consistent tone and compliance in all user interactions.

6. Innovation & Automation

• Introduce AI driven automation and hyperautomation features.

•           Integrate chatbot with APIs, workflows, and enterprise platforms.

•           Deliver POCs to keep the platform modern and future ready.

Your qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 6–10+ years in AI, automation, or platform management.

• Experience with enterprise chatbot platforms preferred.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Conversational AI, LLMs, NLP/NLU frameworks.

• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or similar tools.

• Strong API, automation workflow, and architecture knowledge.

• Familiarity with analytics, data privacy, and security principles.

Leadership Skills

• Proven experience leading technical or cross-functional teams.

• Strong program management and problem solving skills.

• Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Domain Knowledge

• Service management, IT operations, or digital transformation.

• Experience with automation squads or hyperautomation.

Behavioral Competencies
