Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Python Django Backend Developer with strong experience in backend development, RESTful APIs, database systems, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, OOPs, software design patterns, multithreading, and concurrency.

The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions, designing RESTful services, working closely with stakeholders, and taking ownership of the complete software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, Django/Flask, and SQL.
Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Take ownership of the complete development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, code review, unit testing, debugging, deployment, UAT support, and production support.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective defect fixes.
Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend services for scalability and reliability.
Identify potential technical risks and dependencies and communicate them proactively to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

Required Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django; Flask experience is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
Good understanding of Functional Programming concepts and Software Engineering Design Patterns.
Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and web services.
Good understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of SQL, DBMS, database design, and query optimization.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB; exposure to Elasticsearch is an advantage.
Experience with Git/GitHub and Unix/Linux environments.
Working knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD practices.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Good understanding of web technologies, browsers, and web-capable devices.

Qualifications & Soft Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
