Job description

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer (Native) with around 5 years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, APIs, and modern Android architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
Build scalable, responsive, and high-performance mobile applications.
Develop intuitive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose and/or XML layouts.
Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, payment gateways, and backend services.
Implement application architecture using MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, stability, and security.
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Perform unit testing and UI testing and participate in code reviews.
Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams.
Manage application builds, releases, and deployments through the Google Play Console.
Stay updated with the latest Android versions, libraries, frameworks, and development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in native Android application development.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and good knowledge of Java.
Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and Android application lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, XML, Material Design, and responsive UI development.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit/OkHttp, and asynchronous programming.
Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and design patterns.
Experience with Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, or similar reactive programming concepts.
Hands-on experience with Room/SQLite, Firebase, Push Notifications, and authentication.
Proficiency with Git/GitHub/GitLab and collaborative development workflows.
Experience with debugging and performance optimization using Android Studio profiling tools.
Experience with Google Play Store submission and release management.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
