• Key Business Users of Applications Purpose/Objective
• Lead the quality assurance and testing of software applications (including Mobile) which involves ensuring that applications meet high-quality standards, are free of defects, function effectively and meet acceptance criteria.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for software applications considering the specific requirements and objectives of each project.
• Create detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios to thoroughly assess the functionality, performance, and security of applications.
• Perform systematic and rigorous testing of software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Lead identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects and issues discovered during testing, providing clear and actionable information to developers for resolution.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts to streamline testing processes and increase test coverage.
• Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to conduct UAT, ensuring that the application meets the needs and expectations of its intended users. • Lead the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software testing activities.
• Monitor and maintain comprehensive and accurate records of test plans, test cases, test results, and other testing-related documentation.
• Effectively communicate test progress, test results, and testing issues to project managers, solution architects, developers, and other stakeholders. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure alignment and understanding of testing goals and objectives.
• Ensure that software testing activities comply with relevant standards, regulations, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Agile methodologies into the testing processes.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings to ensure QA coverage.
• Update DevOps tasks appropriately to reflect current work status and ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.
Qualifications -
Degree qualification(s) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. Essential
•Extensive knowledge with various testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Substantial Experience of test automation tools and scripting languages. Desirable.
•Skills - Experience in using C# .NET for building Unit Tests Experience with Testing Mobile Applications Experience with Testing Mobile Offline Functionality Experience with Azure DevOps with Test Plans and CI/CD Pipelines Familiar with Engineering, Fabrication, Construction business Essential. Acceptance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
