Job Description – Test Lead – US Health Insurance

Position: Test Lead – US Health Insurance

Experience: 8+ Years

Shift Time: EST Shift – 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with strong US Health Insurance domain expertise to lead QA activities across projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, Agile methodologies, and team leadership, along with excellent client communication and collaboration skills.

The candidate will be responsible for driving quality across the SDLC, establishing QA processes, mentoring team members, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging AI and automation capabilities to improve testing efficiency.

Mandatory Skill Set

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the US Health Insurance domain.

• Strong team leadership and people management capabilities.

• Excellent client interaction, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong experience in cross-team collaboration.

• Good understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies.

• Experience in QA process creation, Shift-Left testing, and quality engineering practices.

• Strong expertise in test strategy, test planning, estimation, and execution.

• Hands-on experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and bug troubleshooting.

• Experience in Mobile Testing.

• Strong understanding of Defect Lifecycle Management.

• Experience with AI-augmented test case creation, test automation, test execution, and CI/CD integration.

• Experience in preparing and presenting QA metrics, dashboards, and status reports.

Secondary Skill Set

• Experience with Playwright for test automation.

• Hands-on experience with Cursor or similar AI-powered development/testing tools.

Preferred / Good to Have Skills

• Experience in Accessibility Testing.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and testing practices such as WCAG is an added advantage.
