• Administer and manage IBM QRadar SIEM including deployment, configuration, and fine-tuning

• Monitor security events, logs, and alerts to detect suspicious activities

• Analyze offenses and perform incident triage and escalation

• Create and optimize custom rules, correlation rules, dashboards, and reports

• Integrate various log sources (firewalls, IDS/IPS, servers, cloud platforms, endpoints) into QRadar

• Perform log parsing and troubleshooting for ingestion issues

• Conduct threat hunting and root cause analysis for identified incidents

• Support incident response teams with actionable insights and forensic data

• Maintain SIEM health checks, performance tuning, and upgrades/patching

• Ensure compliance with security standards and policies (ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.)

• Work with cross-functional teams to improve security posture

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM QRadar SIEM

• Knowledge of log management, event correlation, and SIEM architecture

• Experience with offense analysis and incident response workflows

• Familiarity with network security concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows systems

• Experience in log source onboarding and DSM customization

• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework

• Basic scripting knowledge (Python / Bash / PowerShell) is a plus

• Familiarity with SOAR tools is an added advantage
