The Role
INflow is standing up a GitLab Professional Services practice as a subcontracting partner to GitLab. As a Senior GitLab DevSecOps Engineer, you will deliver GitLab-scoped engagements for GitLab's enterprise and public sector customers, working alongside the GitLab PS team under GitLab's methodology, on GitLab-managed statements of work.
The work is cleared, customer-facing, and runs against defined scopes. You will install and operate GitLab at enterprise scale, migrate agencies off legacy platforms, design CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines, and roll out GitLab Duo and the Duo Agent Platform (DAP) in environments where the mission depends on getting it right the first time.
What You Will Do:
Administer GitLab Self-Managed and Dedicated environments: install, upgrade, backup and restore, user and group management, runners, Geo replication, and performance tuning.
Lead enterprise migrations into GitLab from GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or SVN. Use Congregate and direct transfer. Deploy GitLab reference architectures.
Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including security scanning (SAST, DAST, dependency, container) and compliance framework integration.
Configure and roll out the GitLab Duo Agent Platform (DAP): build and customize agents and flows, enable AI-assisted development workflows, and advise customers on governance and adoption.
Deliver customer-facing advisory, clear documentation, and knowledge transfer to agency teams. Lead workshops, cutovers, and secure-environment deployments.
Operate against defined SOWs with GitLab managing the customer relationship. Scope, estimate, and ship work on schedule.
Required Skills:3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
Hands-on GitLab administration experience in production (Self-Managed or Dedicated).
Experience designing, running, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines at enterprise scale.
Strong consulting instincts: clear written and verbal communication, ability to lead a customer meeting, and discipline working to a defined scope.
Willingness to travel to customer sites for workshops, cutovers, and secure facilities.Preferred Skills:
Active GitLab certifications (GitLab Certified Associate, Professional, or Services Engineer).
Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform in production.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure in a DevSecOps context.
Prior work on federal, defense, or intelligence community programs.
Experience with GitLab Duo, DAP, agentic AI, or AI-assisted development adoption.
Experience with security scanning toolchains, STIG compliance, or cATO frameworks.
