Senior Administrator - ServiceNow, IT Service Management

Job Summary

The Vulnerability & Lifecycle Management Lead is responsible for planning, executing, governing, and continuously improving lifecycle management processes across IT infrastructure, platforms, applications, and technology assets. The role ensures systems remain secure, compliant, supported, and aligned with business requirements through effective lifecycle planning, technology refresh, vulnerability remediation, patch management, asset governance, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Lifecycle Management Governance • Define and maintain enterprise Lifecycle Management (LCM) policies, standards, and procedures. • Establish governance frameworks for hardware, operating systems, middleware, databases, applications, and infrastructure components. • Maintain technology lifecycle roadmaps and refresh strategies. • Drive technology currency and end-of-life/end-of-support compliance. Planning & Execution • Develop annual and quarterly lifecycle plans. • Coordinate infrastructure refresh, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities. • Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements. • Ensure minimal business disruption during lifecycle activities. Vulnerability & Risk Management • Collaborate with Security and Operations teams to remediate vulnerabilities. • Track aging vulnerabilities, patch compliance, and remediation KPIs. • Drive risk reduction initiatives related to unsupported technologies. • Support audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Asset & Configuration Management • Maintain accurate asset inventory and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). • Ensure lifecycle status tracking from procurement to retirement. • Monitor software licensing, asset utilization, and renewal requirements. • Support IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) initiatives. Stakeholder Management • Engage with business owners, application teams, vendors, and infrastructure teams. • Present lifecycle status, risk exposure, and remediation progress to leadership. • Coordinate with OEMs and strategic vendors regarding product support and upgrades. Process Improvement & Automation • Identify automation opportunities within lifecycle and patch management processes. • Implement process improvements to improve efficiency and compliance. • Develop dashboards and reporting capabilities using enterprise tools. • Promote standardization and operational excellence. Reporting & Metrics • Publish lifecycle health dashboards and executive reports. • Monitor: o End-of-Life (EOL) compliance o End-of-Support (EOS) compliance o Patch compliance o Vulnerability remediation o Asset accuracy o Technology refresh completion • Track SLAs, KPIs, and service improvement initiatives.

Other Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • ITIL Foundation/Intermediate Certification. • ServiceNow Certification (preferred). • PMP, Prince2, or Agile Certification preferred. • Certifications in Security, Cloud, or Asset Management are advantageous
