As business, government and communities become more data driven in their decision making and business operations, demand on the new and innovative AI and Analytics related capabilities are exponentially growing. As Data Engineer in Luminous you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering related projects to help fulfill business needs. You will help transforming data into tangible business value.
Qualification/ Personal Attributes
Qualification Bachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent Experience 0-4 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering/Data Science/Data Mining/Data Analysis Have understanding & experience in applying traditional statistical, machine learning, deep learning, to address business problems Experience of building and deploying Predictive Models (with Azure Cloud services) will be an added advantage Experience in developing visualization, dashboards & report using Power BI (or, Grafana) Experience with Azure Cloud service Dataset Design, Data Aggregation, Data Cleansing & Data Profiling ability Experience in ETL and OLAP Cubes Have handled large volume of data independently Power BI Cluster Management & Performance tuning Experience in Data Migration Creating KPIs and Map based reports Optimizing report performance Strong experience in coding using Python and R Strong experience in SQL and its advanced functionalities (joins, nested queries & procedures) Hands on experience in DAX queries Experience in Agile development methodologies Power/Energy/Solar Domain experience will be an added advantage Skills & Attributes An avid interest in learning about the latest trends, technologies, and a desire to set up Data Processing infra with modern tools Curiosity about new developments in AI, Machine Learning and Data Science in general Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Problem-solving skills with a sharp analytical mind Capability to collaborate with cross functional teams/3rd parties Understanding the business side of the application An ardent researcher of market trends and technology evaluation Ready to take uphill challenges An avid interest in learning about the latest trends, technologies, and support in setting up Data Processing infra with modern tools

Responsibilities Processes: Responsible to do analysis of business requirements Help in architecture & design of machine learning projects Work on Machine Learning Projects from inception, design to deployment & maintenance and continuous improvement (in Azure). Work on unstructured data Work in developing visualization, dashboards & report using Power BI Technical Skills: Python libraries – Scikit-learn, SciPy, Pandas, Numpy Matplotlib ML Modelling Techniques – Regression, Random Forest, SVM, Time series, Classification, Clustering etc. LLM Data Modeling Power BI Azure Cosmos DB Azure Analytics Services Azure Synapse Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Warehousing Python R SQL, NoSQL ETL tools Azure ML Services MLOps
