Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Data Architect to lead the design, governance, integration, and optimization of enterprise-wide data architecture within the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, CRM Data Modeling, Data Governance, System Integrations, Master Data Management (MDM), and large-scale data migrations.

The Salesforce Data Architect will partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, engineering teams, and leadership to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that support business growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Design

Design scalable and future-ready enterprise data models across Salesforce Clouds.
Define logical, conceptual, and physical data architecture strategies.
Establish data standards, naming conventions, and governance frameworks.
Create canonical data models for enterprise-wide integrations.
Drive data quality, consistency, and compliance initiatives.

Salesforce Data Management

Design and optimize Salesforce objects, relationships, fields, and metadata.
Architect solutions involving:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Data Cloud
- Marketing Cloud integrations
Implement data archival and retention strategies.

Integration & MDM

Architect integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using:
- MuleSoft
- REST/SOAP APIs
- ETL Platforms
- Middleware Solutions
Establish Master Data Management (MDM) frameworks.
Ensure seamless synchronization of customer, product, and transaction data.

Data Governance & Security

Define enterprise data governance policies.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and organizational security standards.
Implement data classification, lineage, and stewardship processes.
Partner with security teams to establish access controls and data protection mechanisms.

Data Migration & Transformation

Lead large-scale Salesforce migration programs.
Design migration frameworks and reconciliation strategies.
Manage data cleansing, enrichment, and transformation activities.
Ensure data accuracy during mergers, acquisitions, and platform consolidations.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with business leaders to understand data requirements.
Provide architectural recommendations and best practices.
Mentor developers, administrators, and data engineers.
Drive architecture reviews and governance forums.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's degree preferred.

Experience

10+ years of overall IT experience.
5+ years as Salesforce Architect, Data Architect, or Enterprise Data Architect.
Experience delivering large enterprise Salesforce implementations.
Hands-on experience with enterprise data integration programs.
