As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-performance mobile applications used by thousands of healthcare providers and millions of patients.
You will combine deep expertise in Flutter and Dart with native iOS development to shape scalable mobile architecture and deliver seamless user experiences.
The role offers end-to-end ownership across the mobile development lifecycle, including architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
Working closely with Product, Design, Backend, Platform, Security, and Support teams, you will drive technical improvements and ensure application reliability.
You will also mentor engineers, strengthen engineering standards, and improve developer productivity through modern tools, automation, and thoughtful adoption of AI.

Accountabilities
Mobile Architecture and Development: Design, develop, and continuously improve scalable mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, integrating native iOS and Android capabilities where needed.
CI/CD and Release Management: Build and maintain automated workflows using GitHub Actions and Fastlane to support testing, code signing, provisioning, and reliable deployments to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain comprehensive testing strategies covering unit, widget, integration, native UI, and end-to-end tests to improve application quality and release confidence.
Performance and Reliability: Investigate and resolve memory issues, UI responsiveness problems, network latency, application crashes, and background execution challenges.
Mobile Operations: Manage dependency updates, SDK upgrades, crash monitoring, release health, alerting, and incident follow-up to maintain stable production environments.
Real-Time Communication: Implement and optimize WebSocket connections, push notifications, connection management, and error-handling mechanisms to support dependable communication experiences.
Platform Compliance: Coordinate iOS and Android SDK target upgrades, address operating system deprecations, and ensure compliance with evolving application store policies and platform requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and deliver high-quality customer experiences.
Technical Leadership and Mentoring: Guide fellow engineers, document architectural decisions, promote engineering best practices, and improve development workflows and team productivity.
Continuous Improvement: Use observability tools, logs, metrics, traces, and crash reports to identify root causes, strengthen system resilience, and improve the overall mobile engineering lifecycle.
Requirements
Professional Experience: At least 5 years of professional mobile engineering experience, including hands-on development and maintenance of production applications.
Flutter and Dart: Strong expertise in Flutter and Dart, with experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable mobile applications.
Native Mobile Development: Solid native iOS development experience using Swift and iOS SDKs, along with working knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Gradle, and Android release processes.
CI/CD and Deployment: Practical experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions and Fastlane pipelines, managing code signing and provisioning profiles, and deploying applications to mobile app stores.
Testing Expertise: Strong understanding of unit, widget, BLoC, integration, and end-to-end testing approaches, with the ability to establish reliable automated testing practices.
Mobile Architecture: Deep understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, persistence, networking, offline synchronization, and cross-platform integration.
Real-Time Technologies: Experience implementing WebSocket-based communication, managing persistent connections, handling errors, and working with push notification services such as Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Familiarity with tools such as Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, or equivalent platforms, along with strong production debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
Platform Maintenance and Security: Knowledge of dependency management, SDK upgrades, security updates, operating system changes, and application compliance requirements.
Technical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and sound engineering judgment, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and improve performance, stability, and release safety.
Communication and Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, mentoring, and remote collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Continuous Learning: An interest in emerging technologies and the thoughtful use of AI tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining strong code review and quality standards.
