Senior DevSecOps Engineer- Data & AI

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and platform reliability solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud technologies, with preferred exposure to Databricks environments. This role will play a critical part in enabling efficient software delivery, optimizing platform performance, strengthening security controls, and driving automation across the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software releases.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
• Develop automation solutions for deployment, monitoring, configuration management, and operational processes.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor platform health, system performance, availability, and security, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Collaborate with development, QA, data engineering, and architecture teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices, including vulnerability management, security scanning, and compliance controls.
• Support data platform deployments and operations, including Databricks-based environments where applicable.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Optimize infrastructure costs, scalability, and operational efficiency through automation and governance.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment standards, and operational runbooks.

Role

Ideal Candidate

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, cloud operations, or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
• Good understanding of cloud security, networking, identity management, and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Exposure to Databricks deployment, administration, or support in enterprise data platforms is highly preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP) will be an added advantage.
