Role Overview

As an SDE 2 | Python Developer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs that power critical business applications. Your work will directly contribute to delivering reliable, high-performance software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, engineering efficiency, and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy backend applications and services using Python.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Flask and/or Django frameworks.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure application reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability across the software lifecycle.
  • Work with databases, third-party integrations, and internal services to deliver robust system functionality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and engineering standards.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4-8 years of professional experience in Python backend development
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Strong experience with Flask and/or Django frameworks
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices and debugging
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred
  • Experience with scalable, high-performance backend systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment workflows
  • Exposure to microservices architecture
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
