- Experience in troubleshooting Tekla Structures user queries and technical issues.
- Sound knowledge of steel and concrete building structures.
- Experience in Tekla Open API development, including modelling and drawing plugins, macros, and application development using WPF (MVVM) and WinForms.
- Good knowledge of Tekla firm setup, custom components, template editing, report template creation, drawing settings, and project-specific configurations.
- Experience in Tekla installation, configuration, version upgrades, and environment management.
- Knowledge of Tekla Model Sharing and Model Sharing administration/management.
- Interoperability with other CAD/BIM/engineering applications.
- Programming knowledge: C#/.NET, VBA.
Additional Advantages:
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience working with global CAD/BIM environments.
- AI/Generative AI knowledge.
- Knowledge of databases such as SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Git / source control.

Under general supervision, develops, codes, test, and debugs software or enhancements to existing software customers. Requires good understanding of business application. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from customers. May assist in development of software user manuals. Demonstrates software. Note: If the incumbent is responsible for the development of software for internal use, please match to a position in the Application Development sub-family grouping.
